A master of arboriculture (the art and science of tree care), Rick Zampino has served thousands of clients and cared for tens of thousands of trees and shrubs in Dallas/Fort Worth for more than 20 years.

His Fairview-based company, Advanced Tree & Shrub Care, specializes in treating trees and shrubs through state-of-the-art tree health care, pruning, removal techniques and structural improvement, and practicing a systematic approach that recovers trees from disease and decline.

A nationally-known noted expert in his field, Rick is one of only two arborists in Texas with both the Registered Consulting Arborist and Board Certified Master Arborist certifications, and is licensed to prescribe and perform treatment on trees and shrubs.

Rick is licensed as a Certified Applicator by the Structural Pest Control Board of Texas, and holds a Certified Horticulturist designation from the prestigious Davey Institute of Horticultural Sciences. He is a member of the Tree Care Industry Association (formerly the National Arborist Association) and the International Society of Arboriculture.

With a bachelors degree in forestry from Purdue University, Rick's long career in arboriculture began in 1982 at the Davey Tree Company in Richardson, a pioneer in the scientific approach to tree care at the time.

Rick established Advanced Tree & Shrub Care, Inc., in 1990, which specializes in saving trees affected by disease, insects and other factors inherent to North Texas, and addressing those issues with field-leading technology.
